Joella Hardeman Gipson

 

Joella Hardeman Gipson earned her B.S. from Mount Saint Mary's College in 1950, her M.A. from Iowa State University in 1951, and her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois in 1971. Her primary interest has been in Mathematics Education, and in 1972 was Professor and Coordinator of Mathematics in the Education Department of Wayne State University.

Dr. Gipson is a co-author of the book Black Mathematicians and their Works,.
