SYLLABUS
Spring 2004
UB special
MULTIVARIABLE CALCULUS by James Stewart
This semester in class we will taste chapters 12 through 16. Though there may be material, not in the text, presented in class. Yes that stuff can appear on exams. Below is the approximate schedule by which we cover text book material. Your course grade will consist of total scores on homework 9.1% and on scores on each of THREE semester exams in 241G 30.3% each. The exams will consist primarily of problems which arise from lecture material. You may find problems at the end of the sections useful. All exams are culminative. There is no final exam.
Make up exams: No exam can be made up without a valid excuse - (you ought bring me a doctor's/court excuse). You will be not allowed to make-up more than one exam and that make-up exam will be held in class on the LAST DAY of the lecture days of the course.
Late Homework Assignments will not be accepted.
