Text: Single Variable Calculus by James Stewart UB edition

Your course grade will consist of your performance on three segments:

1. graded homework 10%
2. three semester exams 20% each
3. one culminative final exam 40% (half is a semester exam on chapter 5).

All exams are culminative.

No exam can be made up without a valid medical excuse - oversleeping is not one. Any make-up exam must be taken to my convenience in time. You will be not allowed to make-up more than one exam. The Final Exam cannot be made up this term.

An incomplete will not be granted unless you have a passing average on all exams to the date of request.

Schedule of material covered and exams.

Week1: 2.1-2.4	Week2: 2.5-2.6
Week3: 2.7-3.1	Week4: 3.1-3.3 (exam 1 - chapter2)
Week5: 3.4-3.6	Week6: 3.7-3.9, 3.11 (skip 3.10)
Week7: 4.1-4.4 (exam 2: chapter3)	Week8: 4.5, 4.7, 4.9 (skip 4.6&4.8)
Week9: 4.9, 4.10	Week10: 5.1, 5.2 (exam 3 - chapter 4)
Week11: 5.3,5.4	Week12: 5.5, 5.6
Half of Final Exam will consist of material from Chapter 5.
