- There will be
no final exam.
- Quizzes
will be given every week in recitation session, except for the test
weeks. Additionally, there may be given some very short in class quizzes
as well.
- Homework
problems are posted below. They are not collected nor graded. The tests and quizzes are based
on these homework problems.

- Final grade
will be based on in-class quizzes and HW, 20%, and the best of
- the best three
tests, 20% each, and recitation quizzes, 20%, or
- four tests,
20% each.
- 90% guarantees
A if you receive at least 75% on last test
- 88% guarantees
A- if you receive at least 60% on last test
- 85% guarantees
B+, 82% B,
79% B-, 76%
C+, 72% C, 68% C-, 64% D+, 60% guarantees D.
Example: If you
have 90% of total points in class but you receive only 55% on last test
then your grade will be B+. Some modifications of the above rules are
possible.
