Halson V. Eagleson

Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Indiana

Halston Eagleson was the fourth African American to receive a Ph.D. in Physics. He taught a Morehouse College, Clark College, and Howard University (from 1947). He is a former president of the National Institute of Science, the largest Black science organization.
